- Shoji Nishio Sensei was born in Aomori Prefecture in 1927
- since 15 years has started to study the Judo in Semba judo (1942)
- in 1945 has been accepted in Kodokan to Dzigoro Kano
- in the late forties has started to study Karate (style of Dzinen-rju) at founder Jasuhiro Konisi
- in 1951 has started to study Aikido at Morihei Uesiba (up to his death in 1969) having registered in Hombu dojo
- having been occupied with any time of Aikido in passing the beginnings of training Iajdo under the direction of Sigenori Sano sensei, and also jodo at Takadzhi Simidzu
- in 1955 became shihan of Aikido
- in 1958 has received 5 dan (after 6 with small years of employment)
- in 1976 Aikikai has appropriated him to 8 dan Aikido
- in 1980, having reached a pension age, regularly visited Europe for development of Aikido
- since 2002 Nishio sensei has transferred to the best pupils of business and the right to hold seminars on Nishiobudo abroad
- on January, 13th, 2003 Nishio sensei has been awarded awards for special merits in the field of Fighting arts (Budo), awarded to it Committee of Fighting arts of Japan which enters in Nihon Budokan. Nishio sensei has brought the huge contribution to development of Aikido to many countries of the world, such as America, Mexico, France, Germany, the countries of Scandinavia. Thanks to efforts of Nishio sensei many people in the various countries had an opportunity to get acquainted with traditions of Japanese Budo.
- On March, 15th, 2005 has died at the age of 77 years. Funeral has been finished only his family.
